Custom Software

Below are three sections of various custom options. These sections are:
Manipulator/GUI, Imaging System, Manipulator and Imaging Tie-ins.

Manipulation: (GUI)

Most systems are specially design for our client certain needs. With a custom graphical user interface (GUI) a system displays all the information and controls for the manipulator system. Also included in the GUI are the controls for various x-ray sets.

Show below is a sample layout for a 10 axis manipulator system. The GUI can be setup as a Teach-n-Learn system, and includes the ability to have various levels of operators and supervisors controls. The operator can also click once on the Auto button in the GUI and the manipulator will complete a Taught Scan Plan.

The X-Plus family covers most of the industries standard needs for x-ray imaging. But when there is a special task to be completed. The X-Plus can be modified easily. The X-Plus products are designed as modular kits. X-Plus strongly emphasize a high degree of reusability. Our clients benefit in various ways from the modular design concept. Current there are software controls for two of the major x-ray sources on the market, developed into the X-plus software. Some of the various options with X-Plus are:

• Compatible to 8/12/16 bit images
• 3-D –Zoom function
• Extensive measurement functions
• Area calculations of blob defects
• Easy conversion from 12/16 bit to 8 bit via mouse click
• Ideal for analyzing images offline
• Automation of test sequences
• Various archiving functions
• Simple conversion of 12 bit to 8 bit per mouse click

With specialized systems designed with a programmable manipulator there may arise a need for extra features to tie some of the control and image acquisition together. Automated point image acquisition, dwell time for image review. Also the position manipulator position can be added as an overlay on the image.

The MAX system is a programmable system that had a manipulator tie-in that placed an overlay of the part coordinate in the image.
