MXRI Fully Programmable Systems

MXRI manipulators can also be Fully programmable to make the operators job a little quicker and easier. There are different levels of manipulator control. The basic is manual control and more advanced controls involve motion controllers or computer controls.
With a Fully programmable system an operator simply presses a button or clicks on an icon to start the system.
Shown below is an image of a system with simple button operation. The right console is used to teach the system each point in a sequence. Then the teach console is removed and the operator uses the left the console to step forward or backward in the taught sequence. This is best suited for examination of identical parts.

For larger systems that examine more of a variety of parts a computer controls the manipulator, x-ray source and with some systems controls the x-ray detector. This is all accessed through the operators Graphical User Interface GUI on the computer. The GUI allows the operator to select the particular part to be scanned and initiate the scan process.
